On a recent stop over in Bowen our motel recommended Bowen Hotel for a good local pub meal at a decent price.
They weren’t wrong! We had the best meal in ages (small rumps cooked to perfection) and such value for money. The staff are just lovely making you feel very welcome and special. While we were waiting for our meal they even brought sample wings complimentary to each table and they were delicious also. If I lived in Bowen I would definitely be a regular and we can’t wait to visit again next time we are travelling.

The food and atmosphere was first class. The big screen TV in the beer garden was perfect for watching the big game. Also, try the Strawberry Spritz – it was hard to stop at one.
Great place to take young children due to the indoor playground. Food was great and the staff were excellent and accommodating.
10 of us went for dinner last night, the food was great, hot, and didn’t have to wait long. The meals were all big, no one was able to eat all that was on their plates.
The kids meals are great and they loved the free gift bags. The kids play area is fantastic, the staff were fantastic, we will all be eating there again.
